I've attended my last meeting in this term of being a councillor on Test Valley Borough Council. It's been a challenging but enjoyable four years.
One of the measures by which you can assess your local councillor is whether they actually turn up to represent you.
Meetings over the last four years have been somewhat disrupted of course, most of the TVBC meetings went online during the lockdowns, resuming again in May 2021.
This graphic has been produced by some colleagues to show who has the best and less good attendance over the last couple of years at the Council.
I'm not one of the best, nor am I one of the worst. My attendance figures were 40/47 for the 2021-23 period, giving a percentage of 85% - about 17th our of all the councillors. A couple of meetings missed due to holiday, the other 5 because they clashed with County Council meetings I'm afraid.
For the whole period of the Council I attended 83/93 meetings. Which equated to 89% and put me 13th in the attendee list.
