Next May, councillors will be elected to serve their communities on the new shadow unitary authorities. You could join our strong, supportive, and friendly team of councillors and campaigners.
As we look ahead, I would like to ask whether YOU may be interested in standing as a Conservative candidate for a parish, town, or unitary authority council?
With the move to the new unitary structure and the continuing importance of town and parish councils, we are keen to hear from those who may wish to stand. This will help us plan effectively and prepare for any candidate selections that will be needed.
At this stage, this is simply an initial expression of interest and does not formally commit you. Further details about selection processes, ward arrangements, and campaign planning will follow in due course. It should be noted that Hampshire and Isle of Wight Area Conservatives will manage Stage One of the process, while the Association will manage Stages Two and Three.
We would appreciate your response by Tuesday 4th August, so we can begin building a clear picture across the Association.
